The Goat Club was founded in honor of the goat that was resold 72 times at the second Rotary Auction in 1947. (It seems no one wanted to eat the goat, so it kept being bought and resold.) The Goat Club became an important part of the auction, and for years we have encouraged folks to "Let a Goat Help a Kid Get a Sheepskin."
