The Hopkinsville Art Guild joined us last week for #RotaryTuesday to show us how visual arts can enrich our lives! They were organized in 1965 to promote visual art and cultural growth in our community. They offer both professional and amateur artists an opportunity to share their interest in the fine arts. The Hopkinsville Art Guild is an all-volunteer organization and membership is open to all. They currently have 85 members and hope to continue to grow that number! They will be hosting their Christmas Bazaar on Friday, Nov 22nd and Saturday Nov 23rd from 10am-4pm at the Carnegie Library! Follow their Facebook page for more events coming soon! ... See MoreSee Less

Last Rotary Tuesday we learned all about the good works of Challenge House. Michelle Wilson, Executive Director gave us an overview of Challenge Houses in Hopkinsville and then Gina and Mike Condella, Challenge House Ambassadors, educated us on the good deeds and programs at Challenge House #4 on North Elm Street. The purpose of a Challenge House is building relationships in order to rebuild neighborhoods! They focus on needs of the immediate community location and create faith based programs to meet those needs. Challenge House #4, focusing mostly on youth, offers after school tutoring and feeding programs to address food insecurities. They handed out over 44,000 snacks just last year. Want to learn more? Visit their Facebook page: Challenge House or visit their website at challengehouse.orgThank you for visiting us, sharing your heart and passion for service and demonstrating how to be good citizens to help our city neighborhoods. Thank you for your service and steadfast faith! Left to Right: Mike Condella, Gina Condella and Michelle Wilson ... See MoreSee Less
